CHAPTER 8: TROUBLESHOOTING
is chapter describes problems that you may experience with your device or mask and provides
possible solutions.
Problem Why It Happened What To Do
e device does not
operate when you
press the button.
If the power LED is off , theres
no power at the outlet or the
device is unplugged. If the
power LED is on, the problem is
in the device.
Check the outlet power and verify that
the device is plugged in. If the problem
continues, call your health care professional.
e air out of the
mask is much warmer
than usual.
e inlet fi lters may be dirty.
e device may be operating in
direct sunlight or near a heater.
Clean or replace the inlet air fi lters as
described in Chapter 9. Make sure the device
is away from bedding or curtains that could
block the fl ow of air around the device. Make
sure the device is away from direct sunlight
and heating equipment.
If the problem persists, contact your health
care professional.
